Moving
It's official. I've moved.
The best part?...I'm much closer to my loves. My Anaheim Ducks. Oh, and I'm living with two of my best friends (always a plus - and I love them too of course).
The worst part...I hate moving things, I hate unpacking and I hate not being settled. Ramon says it's going to take us at least a month! I laughed at that thought when he said it, but as each day passes (and I find myself wanting to do less and less) I'm starting to wonder if he's right. I hate when Ramon is right...I'll have to use that as motivation!
What's really weird is that I don't consider it home...yet. I'm sure most people feel this way when they move into a new space, but for whatever reason...I still feel out of place. I think that will change soon. One thing for sure, when I crawl into bed at night, it's comfortable and I sleep like a rock!
Ramon and Krystal (who'll be referred to as Mini from here on out) are my roommates. They're a couple. They've been together for over 5 years now, and we've all been friends for quite some time. We've got a lot in common (most obvious, our love for the Anaheim Ducks), but most importantly we have TONS of space to basically stay out of each others' way! At over 2,000 square feet, we don't consider it an apartment, it's a damn house!
I have promised to my Twitter followers that I would be posting pictures of our new place when I get them...and once the HOUSE has less piles and is more acceptable for viewing, I'll post them here as well.
All in all...
the moving truck = $85
gas to the new place = $40
massage for back pain (from all the moving of course!) = $150
having my own space for the first time in years... = PRICELESS!

Blogging = Life Changing
About a month ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a group of bloggers from Orange County. These women (and a few men) were AMAZING!
Mostly made up of mothers blogging about life in Orange County, they were so excited to meet one another face to face! Having been blogging for years and commenting on one anothers pages for so long, they've grown to know each other and respect, value, and appreciate what each person brings to life through their space on this huge world wide web!
I was inspired.
I have been writting about the Anaheim Ducks since this 2008-2009 season started back in October, and I love it. I love that I get to talk about my passion (or obsession - whatever) as often as I want. I love that when I see an amazing goal, save, hit, pass, play, game...I can type and type and type until my fingers fall off...and I never get sick of it.
I've decided that maybe, it's time I blog for "the heck of it" as well.
Blogging has really changed my life. I've met some AMAZING people because of it. I've also found it to be a great therapy. Knowing that I can sit down and just release my thoughts has been the ultimate in terms of personal well being.
I don't know what I'll rant about here...but I think that's the point. I don't really care what it is...it'll just be nice to have the space to get it off my chest.
I'll try my hardest to leave the hockey stuff on Ducks and Pucks!
Here goes nothing!
